KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The Knoxville Police Department responded to a shooting Tuesday night.
KPD said the shooting took place at a residence in the 700 block of Highland Drive in Knoxville. Authorities said upon arrival, officers found a male victim inside the residence with one gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to the University of Tennessee Medical Center for treatment of what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries.
KPD said the investigation is ongoing at this time.
