Knoxville, Tenn. David Keith plays a high school basketball coach who has won more games than anyone in the state of Georgia.
But it's his relationship with his son that he would like to win more than anything.
It's a story of dysfunction, redemption and faith called "Heritage Falls".
"This is known as a faith friendly movie, not faith based because it's not preachy but the Lord is mentioned and there's no sex cussing", said Keith.
The whole premise is to get back together with his son, so he gives him and his grandson a weekend getaway in a mountain cabin that once was used for team building
The movie stares Coby Ryan McLaughlin of the TV show Castle, Keenan Johnson of Nashville and Nancy Stafford of Matlock fame.
David Keith grew up in Knoxville and is also a big Vol fan. He says
in Heritage Falls he even wears a power T cap.
The movie plays to limited audiences this Friday.
