Update: Missing Kentucky man found, taken to hospital after fall

PULASKI COUNTY, Ky. (WVLT)-- Deputies say Bobby Wood was found behind a neighbor's house on Sunday afternoon.

He fell down a 60-foot bluff and a boater spotted him.

Wood was flown to the University of Kentucky Medical Center for treatment.

Pulaski County Sheriff, Greg Speck, issued a Golden Alert for a missing Kentucky man.

Bobby Wood, 79, was reported missing from his home in Pulaski County around 5 a.m. Sunday morning.

Police say they believe Wood walked away from his home and may have been disoriented when he left.

Wood is a white male, 5'8" and weighs 185 pounds. He is described as having white hair and in good physical condition. Wood was last seen wearing a red t-shirt, red and white checked lounge pants and no shoes.

Officials say an extensive search is ongoing by the Pulaski County Sheriff's Office, the Pulaski County Emergency Management, Pulaski County Rescue Squad and the Special Response Team.

Police ask anyone with any information about Wood's whereabouts to call 911.
