Girl missing since July found in Georgia, KCSO says

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Knox County officials say that a girl who was reported missing on July 30 has been found safe.

Kailaigh Faith Godfrey Lay Roerdink is a white female who was last seen wearing a gray t-shirt with the words, "No Gust, No Glory", maroon pants, and carrying a black and white Adidas backpack with her initials, KFGLR.

She was reported missing from a residence on Hart Road between S Northshore Drive and Bluegrass Road on July 30.

On August 29, the Knox County Sheriff's Office said that Roerdink had been located in Whitley County, Georgia by law enforcement today and was unharmed.

CBS affiliate WDEF reported that Roerdink's father was headed to Whitley County today to retrieve her.
