KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The Knoxville FBI field office asked for the public's help in the search for a man connected to five robberies in three states.

Investigators said the man, labeled the "Big Box Bandit," was also wanted for a carjacking incident that happened in Knoxville.

The Knoxville FBI said the suspect robbed a FSNB bank inside the Clinton Walmart in May, then robbed another bank inside a Walmart in Kingsport a few days later. Investigators said he is connected to the robbery of a bank in an Indiana Walmart and a standalone bank in North Carolina, as well.

On June 21, investigators said the man carjacked an individual on Kingston Pike and used the victim's gold Chevrolet Trailblazer to rob a check cashing business inside a Chattanooga Walmart later that same day.

Investigators said he is described as weighing between 180-190 pounds and is about 5'8" or 5'9", and he wore a beard or goatee in some of the robberies.

Anyone with any information is asked to call the FBI at 865-544-0751.
