Knoxville authorities holding active shooter training Friday

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Don't be alarmed! Authorities in Knoxville said they are participating in active shooter response training Friday.

Officials said the exercise is taking place at South Doyle Middle School. Both the Knoxville Police Department and Knoxville Fire Department are present at the mock scene.

The training is expected to end at noon Friday.
