Knoxville man arrested on multiple sexual exploitation of minor charges

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The Knoxville Police Department arrested a man on multiple sexual exploitation of a minor charges.

Emil Ford is charged with one count of aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor and 7 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.

On January 26, the Knoxville Police Department's Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force along with KPD's Special Operations Squad responded to a CyberTip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children leading them to a residence in south Knoxville.

Authorities executed a state search warrant and found over 700 images of child pornography at the residence.

Mr. Ford was taken into custody by investigators Thursday and is being held at the Roger D. Wilson Detention Facility on a $250,000 bond.
