LMU med students raise money for pediatric cancer

HARROGATE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- On Friday night, students with the LMU-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine raised funds for pediatric cancer research.

The Pediatrics Club hosted a fundraiser for the St. Baldrick's Foundation at the Tex Turnter Arena at LMU's main campus in Harrogate.

St. Baldrick's Foundation is a "volunteer-driven charity that funds childhood cancer research," according to a release from LMU.

"Because children with cancer often lose their hair during treatment, 'shavees' for the St. Baldrick's Foundation showed their support by shaving their heads.
