Song trailed through downtown Knoxville as dozens gathered to remember the life of Emma Walker.
The teen's ex boyfriend killed her two years ago.
Her mother Jill talked about her daughter's life, and encouraged others to speak up for their loved ones.
The YWCA's director of social services says it's important for victims to know you care.
"I think that's where we start with victims," Maggie McNally said. "What can we do now, what can we learn from the past. I think that the thing that we do now, we respond by saying 'I believe you' if a victim reaches out for help."
