Man charged with second degree murder in knife attack, records show

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Court records said an East Knox County man was taken into custody Saturday after authorities found a victim dead from multiple stab wounds.

According to court records, 22-year-old Robert Logan was charged with second degree murder after law enforcement responded to a call Saturday night to an incident at 904 E Governor John Sevier Highway.

Records said witnesses reported Logan and the victim, 37-year-old Adam Cole, were in a physical altercation that escalated to Logan stabbing Cole multiple times.

Logan is scheduled to appear in court on May 29.
