CLAXTON, Tenn. (WVLT) --- An Anderson County man has been charged with vehicular homicide after police say a mandatory drug test came back positive following a head-on collision on Friday.
According the the Tennessee Highway Patrol, 36-year-old Timothy Gribble was driving southbound on Clinton Highway Friday when he failed to maintain his lane of travel.
THP reported that Gribble headed into the northbound lane, causing a head-on collision with 64-year-old Robert West.
West was Killed in the crash, and Gribble was injured.
According to the motor vehicle fatality report, following a required alcohol and drug test on both men, Gribble was found to be under the influence of drugs at the time of the accident.
Gribble has been charged with Vehicular Homicide and Driving Under the Influence.
