(INSIDE EDITION) -- Canadian wildlife authorities have charged two men with harassment of wildlife for hitching a ride on a moose in the wild.

In a video of the incident, the giant moose was seen swimming for his life. The men, riding in a speedboat, appear to be chasing the terrified beast for kicks. A guy jumped onto the 800-pound moose as his buddies erupt in laughter. But the valiant moose won, tossing the guy off its back.

The two men face fines of up to $100,000.
