Multiple aftershocks followed after Wednesday's earthquake, experts say

East Tennesseans may have felt
on Wednesday morning at around 4:14 a.m. People as far away as Atlanta felt it.
A second and third aftershock, registering 1.3 and 1.4 magnitudes respectively, was felt at 5:00 a.m. and 5:41 a.m.
According to the University of Memphis, that earthquake has triggered seven aftershocks so far.
The university says "aftershocks may continue for hours, days or weeks and may be too small to be accurately located with permanent seismic networks."
