Nashville Chili's robbed at gunpoint

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Police in Nashville investigated reports of an armed robbery on Monday morning.

According to WTVF, investigators were called to a Chili's restaurant location in Hermitage just after midnight on Monday. Employees told them that they had just let a couple leave the restaurant out of a side door after paying their bill when two men entered the business and demanded money.

One of the men was described as having a long gun.

The suspects took cash and a cell phone from an employee.

The case is ongoing.
