New survey reveals worry and influence of today's kids
A new nationwide survey of 2,000 children, ages 6-12, reveals that today’s kids are ready to speak up for what’s right, and think the world is ready to listen.
That’s according to the 10th annual “State of the Kid” survey by Highlights.
This year’s survey delved into topics that included who and what influences kids’ ideas and thoughts, and whether or not kids feel empowered to create a better, kinder world.
Results from the survey include increased influence of teachers and celebrities and increased anxiety among children.
