New technology allows customers to shop in a store and never stand in a check out line. Cashier-less shops are popping up all over the country.
The twelve Amazon Go stores across the country are cashies-less.
Cameras and sensors track what customers take off the shelves and out of the store. Payment is deducted instantly through the app.
More and more businesses are using technology like kiosks that allow customers to skip the cashier.
Critics of the cashier-less technology say it takes jobs away from cashiers and some cashier-less stores don't accept cash.
