According to a report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol, 67-year-old Stanley Buckner was killed in the wreck.
According to the report, Buckner was driving a Ford Ranger northbound on Norris Freeway when another vehicle was turning right. The ranger struck the other vehicle and flipped into southbound lanes. That's when another car driving southbound collided head-on with Buckner's vehicle.
Officials initially said it happened near Brushy Valley Road and a commercial vehicle is involved. Later Mark Nagi corrected his original Tweet saying the crash actually involved three passenger vehicles.
