GATLINBURG, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Looking to hit the slopes after this blast of cold weather?
Ober Gatlinburg ski resort is set to reopen Friday at 9 a.m. with a 24"-36" base.
Snow making machines have been running since Tuesday night with what Ober Gatlinburg calls "new automated snowmaking technology."
The slopes at Ober Gatlinburg opened December 11, but closed January 5 after unseasonably warm weather.
