NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- An overturned tractor-trailer spilled debris and caused northbound lanes of Briley Parkway to close Monday, according to a report from WTVF.
It happened just before 7 a.m. at exit 10, Two Rivers Parkway.
The cause of the crash is unknown, but the truck spilled piles of trash all over the roadway.

Crews had to bring in heavy equipment to clear the trash away, according to WTVF reporter, Rebecca Schleicher.
A TDOT Smartway estimate said the road was expected to be clear by 12:30 p.m., but northbound lanes remained closed at last check.
Southbound lanes are not affected by the incident.
