Owners: Company behind Dolly Parton dinner shows officially owns Fee/Hedrick properties
One of Fee/Hedrick Entertainment Groups' founders said the sale of the company's entertainment properties is final.
"Fee/Hedrick was officially sold today", co-owner David Fee said on his Facebook page Thursday night.
World Choice Investments, LLC, the company that owns several Dolly Parton branded entertainment venues, purchased the company.
"When I stop to think of all the wonderful shows we've created together, it's simply mind-blowing", Fee said in his Facebook post.
Fee/Hedrick owned Pigeon Forge attractions such as The Comedy Barn, Black Bear Jamboree, Smoky Mountain Opry and Hatfield and McCoy Dinner Fued, among many others.
In November 2018, Fee/Hedrick announced,
of their company, saying it would be complete by sometime this month.
Owners Fee and Jimi Hedick took Fee/Hedrick employees on a cruise to the Bahamas and gave $5 million back to their employees.
The terms of the sale have yet to be announced.
