(WVLT) -- Dads, have you ever gone to change your child's diaper in a public restroom, only to find no diaper changing station? That frustration has been felt by many parents across the country, but Pampers announced it wants to help.
On June 10, the company posted that they would be installing 5,000 diaper changing stations in public restrooms across U.S. and Canada over the next two years.
"9 out of 10 dads have gone into a public restroom to change their baby's diaper only to find there is NO changing table. We want to help change that!" the company said on Facebook.
Pamper's post received many positive comments such as one from a woman named Megan , "I love this! Thank you!! There have been so many times my husband has offered to go change the baby, but there are never changing tables in the men's room."
"Finally! As a mom of twins, it was such a struggle changing diapers when it could be done twice as fast with dad's help!" said another woman.
Still, some commenters pointed out that sometimes even women's restrooms don't have changing tables. Pampers responded to many comments like that, saying the company plans on adding changing tables in both men's and women's restrooms.
