Members of the Sevierville Police Department charged three juvenile students with harassment on Monday following an investigation into several claims of harassment over the weekend.

On Saturday night, police said a Community Resource Officer learned the Northview Academy students were making posts on social media threatening to harm another student.

According to a release, the parents of the student who was the subject of the posts were notified Saturday evening.

There were no threats made towards any other students, officers said.
