Crews respond to a drowning call at local hotel, child expected to be okay

Emergency crews were called to a west Knoxville hotel Saturday evening to help a child who had swam into the deep end of the pool.

They say it happened at the Quality Inn on Cedar Bluff Road just after 6:00 Saturday.

Firefighters who responded say they were able to get the child out of the water and they are expected to be okay.
