KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Tennessee quarterback Jarrett is Guarantano is expected to play Saturday at South Carolina.
Tennessee coach Jeremy Pruitt said as much during his weekly news conference with the media, Monday, the he expects Guarantano to play in the Vols' travel to Columbia later this week.
"I think Jarrett Guarantano is gonna be fine," Pruitt said. "He’s a tough guy and I expect him to be out there"
Guarantano was knocked out of Saturday's loss at home to Alabama with a collar bone injury.
Backup and Stanford grad transfer Keller Chryst relived Guarantano and threw for two touchdowns in Tennessee's 58-21 loss to the No. 1 ranked Crimson Tide.
