Quilts of Valor presented to three East TN veterans

Three East Tennessee veterans were given quilts from Quilts of Valor Thursday.

Leroy Rogers and Bill Nuchols of Maryville, who were Korean War veterans, and 93-year-old World War II veteran Herbert King of Greenback was presented a quilt as well.

Rogers quilt was presented to him at the Blount County Veterans Affairs office in Maryville, and Nuchols quilt was given at the Transitional Care Center at Morning View in Maryville as well.

King was given his quilt at his home in Greenback.

Quilts of Valor is a non-profit organization who provides quilts to veterans.
