Remote Area Medical is partnering with Young Williams Animal Center and the Humane Society of the Tennessee Valley to provide free care to pets in the Knoxville area.

RAM and partners will provide free spay/neuter surgeries, rabies and distemper vaccinations, microchips, and City of Knoxville tags.

During RAM's 1,000th expedition in Knoxville, patients registered more than 100 dogs and cats for free veterinary services.

Pet owners who have pre-registered their pets will drop off their animal Tuesday, February 12 by 8:15 a.m. and pick them up at 4:00 p.m.
