Allstate's report said Knoxville was ranked the 19th safest driving city in 2019. That's a pretty big jump from 2018 when Knoxville was ranked 31 for safe driving.

The report's data said Knoxville drivers have about 18 hard-braking events per 1,000 miles.

The safest driving city, per the report, is Brownsville, Texas, and the least-safest driving city is Baltimore, Maryland.

Nashville ranked 10 on the list.
