Rural Metro Fire quickly puts out Farragut house fire

Rural Metro Fire responded to a house fire in the 12-hundred block of Dudley Station Lane right before 1:00 p.m. Sunday.

Rural Metro Fire said they found the fire burning on the outside of the back of the home.

Fire crews quickly extinguished the flames with no damage to the inside of the home.

The homeowner was there at the time of the fire and called it in. There are no reported injuries.

The exact cause of the fire is under investigation.
