Fire crews battled a fire at PSC Metals Friday morning.

Rural Metro responded to 5205 North National Drive for the blaze at 7:15 a.m.

The fire was reported to be in the shredder. Authorities said the shredder can take a vehicle and shred it into fine particles.

Rural Metro said their crews were able to deploy hose lines to the second level of the building to extinguish the fire.

Conveyor belts and electrical lines were damages, but no injuries were reported, according to officials on the scene.

This is a developing story. Updates will be posted here.
