SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The Sevierville Police Department reported that they are investigating a reported shooting that occurred on Feb. 5.
According to a release, officers responded to LeConte Medical Center that night at around 11:20 p.m. after learning of a man being treated for a gunshot wound.
The victim told officials that, at around 10 p.m., he was sitting at the corner of Candy Tuft Drive and Ridge Road when he heard what sounded like several gunshots, which is when he realized he had been shot. He told police that the shots may have come from a silver two-door sedan.
Witnesses in the area reported what sounded like gunshots.
