Small earthquake hits Loudon County

LOUDON COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A small earthquake rattled in Loudon County on Thursday morning.

According to the USGS, a small 2.6 magnitude earthquake hit just outside of Loudon County around 6 a.m.

This seismic event is just one of many to hit the East Tennessee area in the last few months.
