A new tourist season brings all new entertainment, with shows in the Smokies open all new performances.

The Smoky Mountain Opry opens Valentine's weekend featuring new songs, dancing, and comedy.

"We've got aerialists, singing, dancing, we've got it all at the Smoky Mountain Opry," said Co-Owner Jim Hedrick.

For weeks the cast has been rehearsing, trying to get all the moves down pat. While we were there on Thursday for a final rehearsal, the aerialists were working on a special new number.

Hedrick says Valentine's weekend is a big weekend for everyone in the Smokies.

"Valentines weekend a four day presidential holiday. It's a perfect time for everybody to come to Pigeon Forge and experience all that we have to offer," said Hedrick.

The theater is located at traffic light 0 at 2046 Parkway in Pigeon Forge. For more information call the theater’s box office (865) 428-7469 or 1-800-768-1170 or visit
