KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The Knox County Sheriff's Office says a 15-year-old male student was arrested following an alleged threat that led to a two-hour lockdown at South Doyle High School.
The Knox County Sheriff's Office said that South Doyle High School was on lockdown for two hours, Thursday.
The student, who was not identified, was arrested for false reports.
KCSO said the lockdown went into effect because of a threat made, and officers and detectives were on scene. Officials found the threat not viable and the school was taken off lockdown by 12:30 p.m.
KCSO said all students and faculty were safe.
