TBI spokesman resigns following end of investigation

Former Tennessee Bureau of Investigation spokesman Michael Jones resigned following the end of an internal investigation.

According to the TBI, confirmed Jones resigned and no longer works for the agency. Jones had previously been on paid leave, accused of possible criminal activity during an investigation into former acting TBI director

Locke was cleared of any wrongdoing but ultimately resigned.

TBI has not released the findings from the investigation into Jones.
