On June 25, a Tennessee State Trooper with the Knoxville District stopped a commercial vehicle on I-75 in Campbell County after it committed a traffic violation, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol.

The trooper spoke with the driver and co-driver of the tractor trailer as he conducted a CMV inspection. The inspection led the trooper to believe the individuals could be involved in criminal activity. He called for K-9 assistance.

An officer with the Campbell County Sheriff's Office arrived and deployed a K-9 to inspect the tractor trailer. THP said that the K-9 "indicated a positive response" to the vehicle, and the trooper conducted a probable cause search.

The trooper uncovered a box with 1,000 THC vape pens that contained 84 percent THC, three pounds of marijuana in separate, vacuum sealed packages and one gram of cocaine.

Tuan Truong, 4, and Vo Truong, 46, both from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, were arrested without incident for felony manufacture, sale and delivery of schedule 6 drugs, felony schedule 1 possession and driving under the influence of narcotics.
