Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe announces it will open Knoxville location this fall
Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe announced last week that it will open a new Knoxville this September at 6100 Kingston Pike, at the corner of Northshore Drive. The opening marks the ninth Taziki's in Tennessee and the first in East Tennessee.
Franchisee, Stokely Healthy Foods, is planning the new restaurant to be 2,800 square feet, with outdoor patio seating in addition to a modern, high-quality interior.
“Knoxville residents and college students will enjoy our menu full of original chef-driven recipes prepared daily from fresh ingredients,” said Matt Willis, General Manager, Taziki’s Mediterranean Café. “Taziki’s believes in creating delicious Mediterranean dishes, giving families healthy alternatives when dining out.”
Taziki's is known for a variety of Mediterranean-inspired dishes, including seafood, vegetarian options, and freshly prepared meats. Popular entrees and appetizers include the Grilled Salmon Feast, the Tomato Basil Sandwich, gyros, Taziki's Signature Pasta, and hummus and pita chips. Mouthwatering desserts complete the menu, including dark chocolate cake and baklava.
To celebrate the restaurant's grand opening, Taziki's plans to accept donations for East Tennessee Children's Hospital.
“The Stokely family has been a long-time supporter of Children’s Hospital,” said Carlton Long, vice president for Development. “We are very appreciative that Taziki’s will continue the tradition of giving back to our children.”
