Tennessee Athletics offers free tickets to games Veterans Day weekend

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Tennessee Athletics is offering complimentary tickets to active and former service members Veterans Day weekend.

For the men's and women's basketball games, along with the football game at Neyland Stadium, UT is offering tickets to all active and former service members who show military identification.

Friday night, Rick Barnes and the Vols host Louisiana Lafayette to begin the Preseason NIT, at 7 p.m. at Thompson Boling Arena. Service members are instructed to present their military ID and enter at gates C, E, or the ticket tent located on Phillip Fulmer Way for complimentary admission for themselves and any immediate family members.

Saturday afternoon, Vol football hosts Kentucky at 3:30, and complimentary tickets purchased—along with those matched by Tennessee Athletics—through the Seats for Service Members initiative will be donated to East Tennessee military and veterans organizations to attend the game.

Active and former service members can also come see the Lady Vols host Presbyterian Sunday, free of charge, with a military ID. Again, these tickets can be found by entering through gates C, E, or the ticket tent located on Phillip Fulmer Way for complimentary admission for themselves and any immediate family members.
