Tennessee mom accused of holding 2-year-old son at knifepoint over cellphone
A Memphis woman was arrested after officials say she held her two-year-old son at knifepoint, CBS affiliate WREG reported.
According to WREG, Gracie Pollard was arrested and charged with aggravated assault.
Pollard's boyfriend reportedly called police late on Monday night from their home. He told officials that he and Pollard had gotten into an argument after she took his food stamp card. WREG reported that when Pollard wouldn't give it back, the boyfriend took her cellphone in return.
Police said Pollard grabbed the two-year-old boy, pulled his shirt over his head and held two knives to his chest. Pollard then told her boyfriend she would cut the child if he didn't hand over the phone.
