PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The Island in Pigeon Forge has announced it will be hosting a career fair for job seekers in the area on Saturday, March 5th from 10 am to 2 pm and Wednesday, March 9th from 5 pm to 9 pm.
The career fair, which will be hosted in the conference room of the Margaritaville Island Hotel, will feature booths from a number of different employers located at The Island. These include The Island, Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen, Ole Smoky Moonshine, Margaritaville, St. Somewhere Spa, Arcade City, and many others.
“Whether you’re looking for part time work or an entirely new career, we are welcoming all applicants,” said David Wear, vice president of operations for The Island in Pigeon Forge “This event is a chance for The Island and businesses located here to connect with talented candidates who are serious about seeking employment and contributing to our team.”
Positions available include ride and ropes course attendants, management and supervisor positions, hotel and licensed spa personnel, cashiers, servers, hosts and more. Candidates will have the opportunity to network with potential supervisors and business owners, ask questions regarding employment and learn about different perks involved in joining The Island team.

In addition to connecting with employers, candidates will be provided with refreshments and can enter raffle drawings throughout the event. All candidates are encouraged to bring a resume.
