Three Tennessee children exposed to meth, couple charged

A man and woman face charges after Tennessee officials said three young children tested positive for exposure to methamphetamine.

The Weakley County Sheriff's Office confirmed that 27-year-old Kristin Goode, of Dresden, and 29-year-old James Lane, of Union City, were charged with aggravated child abuse and neglect.

A release from the sheriff's office said that their children, ages one, two and nine, had been living with the couple. Hair follicle tests showed positive results of methamphetamine in all three children.

The couple failed a drug screen as ordered by the Department of Children's Services, according to WBBJ.
