Three charged after Oak Ridge shooting

OAK RIDGE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Three people were charged after a shooting in Oak Ridge Tuesday, according to a representative with the City of Oak Ridge.

Nicholas Strickland, 25, of Oak Ridge, Matthew Mashburn, 27, of Knox County, and Nicole Brewer, 19, of Oak Ridge were charged with especially aggravated robbery, aggravated assault, and conspiracy in connection with the shooting incident on East Holston Lane.

The victim of the shooting was identified as a male. Officials say he was taken to UT Medical Center after the shooting and is currently listed in stable condition.

The investigation is ongoing.
