Trees topple mobile home in Union County

UNION COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) - Trees crashed down across Union County, including one big one on Beard Street in Maynardville.

It smashed an empty mobile home. No one lives there, so no one is hurt. Neighbors said it was still a scary sight, because it happened so fast and it could've been them.

"This is the worst thing I've seen in a while. It was out of the blue. I didn't know what to think, really, I just [was thinking] get away," Robbie Brady, a nearby resident said.

City workers spent the morning clearing the roads. There were also ten trees down along Hwy 61 west bound. Dispatch said TDOT picked those up.

Union County dispatch said there are no reports of any injuries in the area.
