"Turkey of a lifetime" captured in Middle Tennessee

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Have you ever seen a turkey like this?

The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency said Cameron Bond, of Warren County, took home this "turkey of a lifetime" last Saturday. According to TWRA, the bird is a leucistic gobbler, meaning a loss of pigmentation.

It was caught in Rutherford County and weighed 20 pounds. Its beard measured 9 1/2", and its spurs were .75.

"Congrats to Mr. Bond," the TWRA said on Facebook.
