(CNN) -- Uber is acting fast after an investigation substantiated multiple reports of sexual harassment at the company, CNN reports.
Uber fired over 20 employees based on the results of the investigation, a source confirmed to CNN Tech.
According to the source, employees were told at a staff meeting Tuesday that 215 harassment claims had been investigated. 100 of the claims required no action, a person with knowledge of the matter told CNN. Bloomberg was the first to report the news Tuesday.
A former engineer at Uber named Susan Fowler published a blog post alleging that she was propositioned by a superior for sex. Uber was rocked by the allegations in February. Fowler told CNN she later learned Uber issued warnings when other employees had spoken up internally about similar treatment.
Uber CEO Travis Kalanick hired former Attorney General Eric Holder and Tammy Albarran, both partners at law firm Covington & Burling, to look into the company's culture. Uber also hired Perkins Coie to investigate the specific harassment allegations Fowler brought to light.
Employees were briefed Tuesday about the company terminations as a result of the Perkins Coie findings. CNN's source said multiple senior level employees are no longer with the company due to what the investigation revealed.
The Covington & Burling report was presented to Uber's board members last week. Uber has not publicly released the findings of the reports.
The news comes as many executives are leaving Uber. In the last few months, departures have included VP of finance Gautam Gupta, president Jeff Jones -- who was at the company for less than a year -- and Anthony Levandowski, an exec at the center of Uber's battle with Google (GOOGL, Tech30) over stolen self-driving car technology.
