University of Tennessee-Chattanooga employee cited for sex in public

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT)-- An Associate Vice Chancellor of Communications and Marketing for the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga was cited Sunday for having sex in public, according to WDEF, Local 8 News' Chattanooga affiliate.

WDEF reported Chattanooga police were working undercover at Cinema One on Rossville Boulevard and observed James “Chuck” Cantrell having sex in the adult DVD store on November 3.

Joseph Wiram, UTC Coordinator for Veteran Student Services, and Scott Jarrett were also cited for public indecency, according to court documents.

Detectives observed Cantrell and Wiram's involvement in a sex act, according to WDEF.

Cantrell was booked and processed Sunday and is set to appear before a judge on January 2.
