VFL's giving back to the community

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT)-- As you might imagine, each year a number of VLF's come in to town for the annual Spring game, this year is no exception.

Several of those VLF's were at Hops and Hollers on North Central Friday night for a special event called, A Night to Remember. It was a fundraiser for the Change Center, which helps teens find their way in our community.

Former Vol Curt Maggitt spearheaded the event, which is a great way for these guys to give back. Now on Saturday, like the rest of us, they'll be watching to see what improvements coach Jeremy Pruitt's Vols have made this spring. Among them, former Vol quarterback Josh Dobbs,
" Of course see how much they've progressed from last season we know they showed glimpses last season with big wins on the road at Auburn and and at home against Kentucky. It'll be fun to see how they've grown in their second year under coach Pruitt hopefully continue taking strides in the right direction.."

Believe it or not, Josh Dobbs is getting ready to enter his
3rd season in the NFL as Ben Roethlisberger's back-up
in Pittsburgh.

Like the rest of us, the VLF's will be at Neyland Stadium Saturday.
Gates open at 4:30, the Vol Walk is set for 4:55 pm. and the game kicks off at 6-o'clock, best of all, admission is free! We'll see you out there!
