KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - For some, the drive to church will be greeted with a few clouds and the stray fog. It'll be muggy early with temperatures into the mid 60's.

Overall, Sunday should stay dry with no chances for rain. We'll have plenty of heat to go around as we go into the 90's once again. We warm fast on Sunday into the 80's by noon and 92 for the high.

We stay dry on Monday as well with low 90's in the afternoon. Monday will stay mostly sunny and hot with a high near 91. It'll feel slightly warmer, close to 95.

Virtually no rain chances are in the forecast through middle part of the week. We'll have highs near 90 and lows near 65 with generally clear skies.

Thursday we'll increase the humidity levels and chances for rain. Temperatures will pull back to the upper 80's as we roll into the weekend.

Looking way ahead to the first day of fall, hot with highs in the low 90's.
