Water main break closes I-40 westbound lane in Kingston

A water main break has closed one lane of traffic on Interstate 40 West near mile marker 352 in Kingston.

The Tennessee Department of Transportation announced the closure Friday afternoon, saying that traffic is backing up in the area. As rush hour approaches, TDOT said to expect delays.

TDOT crews are on the scene and are evaluating the situation.
