This week, we have Fan Boy in Knoxville, Tenn. It's a fan convention that draws thousands from all over. There will be plenty of cosplay and geeky attractions. You will see people like John Noble, Tara Strong and Jodi Benson. Besides the attractions, you can get your geek and grub on. There will be a food festival on the lawn of World's Fair Park. Up and Coming

Disney's live action "Mulan" is getting closer to its debut! Disney recently released its first teaser trailer for the remake of the 1998 Disney film based on a historic figure in Chinese history. Fans got their first look at the lead actress, Liu Yifei, as Mulan.

Your wallet may give a sigh of relief after Nintendo's recent announcement. Nintendo unveiled its new Switch Lite, designed as a less expensive alternative to the original tablet/console hybrid.

A new animated Netflix series is on the way! It's called The Cuphead show and is based on the video game Cuphead. The game has won over fans with its retro hand-animated style, crazy boss brawls and challenging game play. Netflix has not announced an air date.

Comic books

This week in comics, DC and Dark Horse Comics present the ultimate superhero crossover event of 2019. Black Hammer Justice League issue number one features a strange man arriving on Black Hammer Farm and in Metropolis. Both worlds are warped as Starro attacks! Batman, Green Lantern, Flash, Wonder Woman, Superman and more crossover with Golden Gail, Colonel Weird and the rest of the Black Hammer gang.

Next, Superman issue number 13. It's a major chapter in the galaxy-spanning "Unity Saga" and begins as Superman reluctantly takes the lead in a quest for peace bigger than he has ever tried before.
