This week, we talked to a very special gamer, Jackson Sutton. Sutton is eight years old, but his age hasn't stopped him from being a fierce competitor in the gaming world. Jackson has qualified for the Pokemon World Championships after playing the game less than a year. The championship will be held in D.C. August 16 through August 18. Good luck, Jackson!
E3 had many exciting reveals, such as Marvel's Avengers. The gameplay shows a setup that made our favorite heroes out to be the bad guys. Now, they must re-assemble to show the world that they are its true protectors. You can play as Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, Black Widow or Thor. More maps and characters will be added later at no extra cost. There will be a four-player multiplayer setting so you can play with all your friends. The bad thing? It's nearly a year away from its debut. The game is set to release on May 15, 2020.
Nintendo has several new things cooking. The company announced it is adding Banjo Kazooie to the roster of Super Smash Brothers Ultimate. Plus, a sequel to the award-winning Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is now in the works.
Not to be shown up, XBOX's briefing had a lot to offer. The company announced their new XCloud console streaming service. They also revealed Project Scarlett, which is the new next generation console coming out during the holiday season of 2020.
Fan-favorite Keanu Reeves made a special appearance to talk about Cyberpunk 2077 after it was shown he was in the game. The crowd loved it.
